Collage Workshop

Saturday, October 3rd 1pm – 4pm. $65 HST
Create an original work of art by transforming found imagery and text into something new. Using images from books, magazines, and decorative papers, explore a wide range of possibilities for both representational and abstract compositions. Through cutting and rearranging, participants will create a finished piece of collaged artwork through repurposing paper materials. In this hands-on workshop you’ll learn about composing dynamic collages, storytelling through collage, layering images to create new meaning, and material exploration. All skill levels are welcome!
Materials will be provided but participants are encouraged to bring magazines and photos to utilize in their collage!
