About This Event
Be a part of creating the Central Park Mini Forest in Whitby!
Be part of the beginning of a mini forest! The Sustainable Neighbourhood Action Program (SNAP) is creating a mini forest at Central Park. We are looking for volunteers to plant 600 native trees and shrubs.
No experience needed. Volunteers should be comfortable with light to moderate physical activity, such as:
Using basic tools like shovels
Lifting and carrying materials, trees. and shrubs in pots
Standing, bending, and moving around for the duration of the event
