Central Evening Adult Book Club: The Devil in the White City

This month's selection is Devil in the White City by Erik Larson.

Combining the stories of Daniel H. Burnham, the architect responsible for building the 1893 Chicago World's Fair grounds, and serial killer, H.H. Holmes, who masquerades as a charming doctor, Larson presents readers with the magical appeal and horrifying dark side of 19th-century Chicago.

This program will take place in-person. Virtual attendance is also offered on Microsoft Teams.

Register online, in person or by calling any location. The first 12 people to register will receive a copy of the book to borrow. Waitlisted registrants who have read the book are also welcome to attend the meeting.
