Central Evening Adult Book Club: Homegoing

This month's selection is Homegoing by Yaa Gyasi

A sweeping and breathtaking novel that traces 300 years in Ghana. Following two half-sisters, Effia and Esi and their descendants through centuries of warfare in Ghana, and in America through the slave trade to the jazz clubs of 20th century Harlem, right up to present day.

This program will take place in-person. Virtual attendance is also offered on Microsoft Teams.

Register online, in person or by calling any location. The first 12 people to register will receive a copy of the book to borrow. Waitlisted registrants who have read the book are also welcome to attend the meeting.
