Spooky Storytime with Author Joel A. Sutherland (3-8 yrs)

Bring your little ghosts and ghouls for a fun, not-too-scary Halloween storytime featuring award-winning author Joel A. Suthland’s latest picture book, The Scariest House on the Street. Joel will share his delightfully spooky story and bring his trademark storytelling energy to this special Halloween read-aloud. Expect plenty of crafts, laughs, and just the right amount of creepy!
Books will be available for sale (cash only) following the program. Costumes are encouraged, courage is optional.
Biography
Joel A. Sutherland is the Silver Birch Award-winning author of numerous volumes of Haunted Canada (a series that now has more than 875,000 copies in print and has recently been adapted into Yellow Cedar Award-winning graphic novels), The Scariest House on the Street (his debut picture book) and Summer's End (a Red Maple Award Honour Book). His series, Haunted, including The House Next Door, has been praised by Goosebumps author R.L. Stine. He is also the author of young adult novels House of Ash and Bone and The Whisperings (Tundra Books).
