Durham Family and Cultural Centre is a charitable organization, established in February 2019. DFCC is a Durham-based organization that provides a space for members of the Black community, and other racialized and diverse groups to engage in programming that empowers their lives

Kesha Christie is an award-winning storyteller, TEDx speaker, and communication coach who helps children, families, and communities connect through the power of story. Rooted in African and Caribbean oral traditions, she creates engaging, interactive experiences that build confidence, connection, and belonging.
